    I don't know if you all remember this, but it was during an NFL strike quite a few years ago....

    "Boomer and the bus (October, 1987). This is probably the Spinney incident most known about by the general public. During the 1987 NFL players strike, a militant young Boomer Esiason led several teammates in sitting in the path of a bus which was bringing replacement players in for practice. The street was eventually cleared without incident, but this was a defining moment in Esiason?s career..."

    Found this kinda by accident, in a bengals archive thing while looking for something on another player.
